Bob Bannar’s experience includes a diverse background in food industry writing and reporting that spans four decades, including publishing, corporate, agency and independent settings.

Bob served as Managing Editor and Features Writer with Food Engineering magazine (Chilton Co.), where he was recognized four times with annual in-house awards for outstanding writing, editing and reporting. There, he regularly covered new developments in ingredients, products and packages, packaging and processing equipment, instruments and control systems, legislative and regulatory matters, and more.

As an independent writer, Bob’s articles have appeared, with or without byline, in many of the industry’s leading journals. His bylined articles have also appeared in general publications, such as The Philadelphia Inquirer, the Philadelphia Daily News, Technology Times, and others.
